Milestones
1981: Company was founded by Bo Levander
   
1983: First contract of 85‘000 mt Sulphuric acid ex Spain to Tunisia
   
1985: Co-operation with Outokumpu (today Boliden) started
   
1987: First own vessel was purchased, MT CT STAR with 8700 DWT, some years later
  CT SUN and CT SKY were purchased.
   
1998: MT SMERALDO was taken on T/C
   
2000: MT GRANATO was taken on T/C
   
2000: ChemTrans was certified by AJA Registrars according to ISO 9001:2000
   
2004: Vessels incl. COA‘s for chemicals were sold to Utkilen in Bergen. A COA for
  ChemTrans‘ acid transports was agreed at the same time
   
2005: Distibution agreement between Boliden and ChemTrans was signed for
  exports ex Rönnskär and Pori
   
2008: ChemTrans most successful year with 600‘000 mt traded acid and a turnover
  of 73 mio CHF (49 mio EUR)
   
2009: ISO system has been updated and certified by AJA Registrars according to
  9001:2008 standard
   
2009: ChemTrans purchases a new office in Unterägeri,which was taken into
  operation on 18th September
   
2011: ISO certification system has been changed from AJA to GlobalGROUP
