ChemTrans Trading is
active in the international Sulphuric Acid marketing
and logistic by seagoing vessels and barges.
The policy of the company is to offer it’s Customers
and Suppliers optimal service by supplying material
of highest quality at the right time in a safe way.
In order to ensure
high flexibility and supply security to the Customers,
ChemTrans has a number of long-term marketing agreements
in place with several Scandinavian producers. All
of them are producing high quality product.
For the business
activities outside Europe ChemTrans has since years
a close cooperation with the American trading group
Transammonia and markets the product outside Europe
jointly with them.
On the logistic
side ChemTrans has since 2004 entered into a long-term
cooperation with Utkilen AS, which is a leading
shipping company in the liquid chemical field.
Through this cooperation ChemTrans has access to
a fleet of about 25 chemical tankers ranging from
2550 DWAT up to 17000 DWT. Most of these vessels
are built to perform under severe winter conditions
and are built with high ice class.
